25 MAN ICC - Marrowgar.

Blog!

It's been pointed out to me that I have yet to explain the BEGINNING of ICC, including the trash mobs and the first boss before Saurfang! I'll do this now, of course.

When first entering ICC, you'll be addressed with some friendly NPCs, in which offer a variety of services in the dungeon, (REPAIRING, OH YEAH). Believe it or not, ALOT of public groups fail on this area, due to how much trash is actually there, and no amount of AOE can get it down.

The trash should be handled by navigating through the left, and NEVER pulling the guys in the middle. Sure it's possible, but you have a higherchance of pulling the guys on the sides if you just head down the middle. This has been the safest bet so far, stick to the left, don't pull middle, sneak past into the door to go to Marrowgar.

(Keep in mind this fight is explained as a 25man regular mode, and as always, from my point of view during my fights.)
Being ranged DPS this fight was simple. Burnburnburn boss, run when he begins to whirlwind (IT HURTS.), and when he casts these ice spike things, DPS the spikes down. Then kill asap. Now, to explain the fight.

Marrowgar is a floating, mass of bones and... spirit stuff. He has a huge axe, also; which hurts during whirlwind. During the match he will cast a ice spell infront of him on occassion, which is an aoe, so all ranged should definitely stick to his back. He casts a spell, something along the lines of "frozen spike" or something to that effect, and a few of them at once. Typically this happens on the meele DPS, so they should all stack ontop; or as close to one another as possible during the fight. The spikes actual have an "Imaple" effect on their victims, in which causes them to be completely useless and take massive amounts of DOT. So, stacking together helps the AOE ranged DPS take down the spikes easier. (I think it was 3 spikes, on 25man.)

Other than making sure you keep the spikes down, this fight is a peice of cake. Of course it's the easiest in my opinion, due to it being the first ICC boss. Saurfang is next to the easiest, then it gets worse. Keep in mind most of the fights in ICC aren't actually difficult, you just need to keep an open eye, and you'll be fine. ^^;

Next post will come later tonight, and will be an update on my (ALMOST LEVEL 40) Arms Warrior, Callus. The posts relating to him (among other things) can be found by clicking my tab at the top of this here screen. Thanks!

Ev' eh good one.
